7 Hour Private Custom Emerald Lake Excursion

Explore "The Last Frontier" on a private custom tour, stopping where and when you want! Let me show you my beautiful wholesome town and hear about its not-so-wholesome history back in the Last Great Gold Rush of 1898.

Driving north up the South Klondike Highway, we’ll see the most awe-inspiring nature scenes as we drive through British Columbia and into the Yukon Territory of Canada.  Here we often spot some of the many wild animals that call this area home.  Along our trek, you’ll enjoy several photo stops and possibly take a short hike.

And if you have children in your group--they are in for a fun day!  We'll keep them engaged throughout the trip with an interactive Scavenger Hunt and a game of "I Spy".  Several other options can be added such as gold panning (each person "finds" and leaves with real gold!), playing with soft, cuddly future Iditarod puppies, taking a ride pulled by 14 well-trained sled dogs, or even crossing 65 feet above the white-water rapids of the Tutshi River on a suspension bridge.  There are also kid-sized treasures to take home that are sure to bring a smile.  We'll plan this together to ensure we have time to include everything that is important to you.  This is your private custom tour and I want it to be a trip your children will always remember!

 

The optional stops include the Yukon Suspension Bridge (click here) and the Tutshi Dog Mushing Camp (click here)   Each of these adventures require payments at the location, but are definitely a lot of fun.  We may not have time for both of these, but together we'll create an itinerary and prioritize what is most important to you.  I'll share my experience then make recommendations so we can arrange the day to give you an incredible Alaskan adventure.

After a lunch break in the tiny Yukon village of Carcross, we’ll journey further north to see "The Smallest Desert in the World."  Breathtaking lake views are everywhere, but at our furthest point, we’ll see the most beautiful lake of all--the unbelievable, unforgettable Emerald Lake.  Its colors will stun you.  After a full day, we’ll head back to Skagway.  I can’t wait for you to join me!  Let’s explore this amazing land together!
